Stardoll!

Hey gals! So today, there is a game online called Stardoll. I've played this game for years and years and have absolutely nothing bad to say about it. You can dress up your doll, play games, but clothes, design clothes, and much much more! Heres a link:

Miricle Whip!

Haha so my title fooled you! I'm talking about the E.L.F. shimmering facial whip. It is AWESOME! It's only a dollar, but does come in a teeny little thing. Unlike some E.L.F. products though, it's actually FULL. I've bought other products that are only like half full in the tube! Anyways. This goes on sort of pinkish but when the light hits it it turns silver and shiny shiny shiny. It's amazing. I apply it with my eyeshadow brush that has been discontinued use. It still applies evenly and everything, but I found one I like better. I have this in Pink Lemonade, and it's sooo pretty. Silver, with a pinkish sheen to it. All-in-all, an AH-MAZE product.

Life....

Life is good. Sophie's been great lately. I got a fishy named Bubbles, and another one named Spot. They're goldfish, and adorable ones at that.
Drama.... well life has its dramatic moments. I guess that's what makes it fun though, right?
I'm still trying to find the balance between school, horses, music, pets, and fun. Horses and music are fun, but, you know, not the same as laying down and watching a movie. Let me know if you ever find the balance- I'd be glad to here.
Oh, and btw, I started a blog about Mr. Bubbles and co, it's called Life from a Bubble, so go check it out! You won't be sorry!

WOW

Hey guys! Wow, I haven't been here in a while. Nothing major has happened recently I guess. Wait. BIG LIE! Ha ha, me and Sophie were in a horse show last weekend. It was pretty good. We didn't do all that well with the jumping, but the flat work was fine. I also did an intercollegiate class, and drew on of the best horses at the barn. Jumping Lil was a breeze! I did a Ride-a-buck class too, where you stick a dollar bill between each calf and the horse. It was a failure, but still fun.

Product review!

Hey guys! So I decided to do a product review on Eyes Lips Face makeup.

Okay, so first things first. I looove e.l.f. products- and they are super cheep. Like they have an entire one dollar rack at target cheep. They are mostly very very good, pigmented products so today I'm just focused on single products.

Alrighty. So the first things I'm doing reviews on are brushes.

Okay. So the first things is e.l.f. Blush brush. It's pretty well shaped, but the bristles are a little too long in my opinion. It doesn't really apply very well. Well, I might change that statement a little bit. I tried the other brushes that i got first, the Complexion Brush, the Contour Brush, and the Powder Brush. They were all far above my expectations, and set them pretty high. After that I found the Blush Brush to be just about average. The bristles are super long, so their not very precise, and their also not all that thick... it's taper cut and the highest part is, like, really thin. I don't like it as much as the others, but it's definitely better then my Clinique or Meybelline brushes and waaay cheaper.

Next is the Complexion Brush. It also has really long bristles, but it's cut in a way so that it really applies products well. It's so so thick and really soft. I love how all the brush bristles are black, so you can tell when your out of product. I love the Complexion Brush from e.l.f. and I would definitely recommend it to anybody.

Another great thing is the Contour brush. This is tiny, compact, has short bristles, and is incredibly thick. It's so thick that the bristles hardly bent any, making it very easy to apply powder to under-eye circles, making them almost invisible.

Last, and possibly my most favorite, is the Powder Brush. the bristles are slightly wavy until the very end where they are very soft and straight. The bristles fan out slightly from the base of the brush, which is great. I love this brush it is so incredibly soft with my favorite characteristic- black bristles. I can see how much powder is on it and how much I leave on it.

Okay, so those were the brushes. I hope with was helpful. I'll do makeup reviews soon!

Halloween!!!

Hey guys! So my BFF Lana and I went trick-or-treating last night for Halloween. It was so much fun- but still pretty cold. We enjoyed looking at all the decorations and eating junk food all night. I'm so excited to finally have my new computer to write on!!! Anyways. Haha the UPS man came at like ten o'clock last night and I was so excited for my computer to finally be here- we thought it would never. EVER. Come. We all squealed and jumped up and down. I saw the headlights and thought it was trick of treat-ers coming and I saw the UPS truck and we all like blew his ears off!!!
We had a great time dressing up like Monster High dolls and doing our makeup. In fact- we are getting ready to do a product review on the stuff we used and upload a tutorial.

Also!! Lana got to ride Sophie!!! I'm so excited she did A-MAZE!!! And Sophie was great. I can't wait for this afternoon- Lana and Lucy and I are going to the barn and Luce and I get to jump. I'm so excited I hope Sophie is good for us!

Horsey

Hi guys! Wow I haven't posted in so long... that was weird. I am wearing a magnetic bracelet and as soon as i rested my wrist on the computer the screen went black. Oops. Well it's back now so I hope I didn't just kill my computer. Anyways... I went to see my horse today. My uncle Mike was with us and so my sister and I got to show Sophie to him. She was fabulous. I got her to canter much faster then usual, which was fun. It was kind of something we usually work against, and try to keep maintained, but every once in a while I let Sophie just go as fast as she wants. Not for a long time, but for about a lap around the arena. I know if I didn't have those ahhh moments then I would probably burst before too long. But Sophie was good and cooperated. Wow I'm so tired. I think I get to sleep in my own, très clean room tonight! YAY! I got new sheets and everything- they are blue and sooo soft!   xoxo

Sirens

Blah. Tornado sirens again... why cant they play music or something? It is so incredibly annoying. Bwee ew breee ew bwee ew oh my goodness I am going to go insane. I remember a couple of years ago, we had a tornado like every night. I live in a very safe part of Memphis so we never get hit, but we are still subject to hearing all those stupid sirens. Seriously if they all played "Dynamite" or something it would be better. Of course Dynamite would get annoying too, but at least its better then whoooo whoooo whoooo all over and over and over and OVER again. Another sleepless night do to that idiotic siren. Ugh.

Lazy Day...

Well it's been another semi-lazy day. We didn't ride- I've had a huge headache all day- but we did go to harp lessons and then Target. I love Target. It's possibly the best store of all time... except for maybe American Eagle. Ya I like that store too. We bought like 6 zillion pounds of Halloween candy for my brothers. They go to college in Cali on Malibu Beach (which, by the way, is so totally not fair!) and so of course, because it's like their so troubled about living ON THE BEACH that we had to send them millions of pounds of candy! Oh well, it was still fun. I told mom that when I'm in college she can feel free to send me all the little decorations for any Holiday that she wants too- the boys probably wont want it.
Haha while I'm sitting here, my kitten is sitting on the ottoman that my feet are on. She was licking herself and when she finished licking her feet she licked mine. Adorable, but then again, by feet may need it. I am glad that my cat cause about my health needs. Or maybe she thinks my feet smell and was embarrassed. Either way, shes cute. xoxo

Fall Break???

Where did the sleeping till noon, up till midnight go? No matter how long I stay up I keep waking up at exactly eight-thirty. How bazaar! Of coarse Kitten Little doesn't help much by jumping up on the bed and then jumping down again over and over. And of course I'm so scared to let the chickens out in the mornings too. Its because their all dieing, and I'm terrified of going out there and finding a dead one in the coop. I've  done it before- it's not a very good way to start the day. Somehow the chickens know that if they don't eat one day then I'll be super worried, so that particular chicken always HIDES when I go to let them out, causing me to freak. Then as I turn around in tears to find my mom, the chicken always runs out with the others. Stupid birds. But all is okay this morning and I'm thankful for that. You may think "Gosh whats the big deal? Their just chickens!" but our chickens are as much pets as our cats and dog and rabbit and horse. We named all six of the original ones and when we got more, we named them too. All the chickens we have ever had were named: Bunny, Lucky, Grace, Gwenneth, Lilly Ann, Penelope, Luna, Hermione, and Jenny(In case you didn't notice, the last three are Harry Potter names,). We've lost Gwenneth(who was my all time fave and we lost her first), then Grace (Grace and Gwenny were besties), and then just last Saturday Lilly Ann. She was the coolest looking of them, she had circles in the pattern of feathers on her back.
Anyways enough of that. Well so far today I have woken up, let out the chickens and blogged. Yesterday I went back to the barn, my neck incredibly sore from Murphy (more like the ground!) and I worked. I work for my lessons at the barn, so technically I have a job! That's always cool. Well I need to go feed my cattle who are meowing (or in Sibby's case- squeeeeking) at me. Updates after riding this afternoon!

Murphy lesson

Hi! So I rode Murph earlier. He was fantastic, but I managed to take a spill anyways. Totally my fault. He left early over a jump because I accidentally leaned at it and wasn't prepared enough. Other then that, my lesson was perfect. We didn't jump very high because another girl, also named Emily, needed to lesson on him too and so we couldn't tire him out. Sophie was amazing for Lucy and Murphy was great. Success!
   xoxo

Love Blogging!

Hi! Well I haven't ridden yet and I'm blogging anyways... wow. So I was in my little sister's bunk-bed this morning and our kitten Sibby comes in, and starts meowing bloody murder. So I patted the bed and she took a running leap, and launched up the ladder. She was on the top...wrung (I think) and she tried to jump on the bed, but she missed and ended up hanging from the sheets with one paw. Classic lion king! Shes adorable. Okay well I should probably eat breakfast now and get moving, so I will update my, like, 2 readers after my lesson!

Today, I'm addicted

Hi! So i promised my self that I wouldn't blog until tomorrow but I can't help it! So I figured out (and this is no mystery and i feel slow for figuring out!) that if I get a small precision brush wet and then dipp it in pressed eyeshadow, voile-a! you have any color liquid liner! Especially a good trick if your allergic to most liquid liners like i am.
I also saw on pinterest.com that if you put Vaseline around your cuticles before applying polish, then you will get a much cleaner manicure. Works every time, because you just wipe the Vaseline off after your polish dries.
AND if you line your waterline with white eyeliner, you get very open eyes. Also, colored contacts are fun if you really need to spice up you look. Blue smokey eyes as a mix of turquoise, navy, and off-white (to highlight) can also be a very fun variable. I recently went to a Junk O Rama prom, and my friend CC(obviously initials) did gold smokey eyes with glittery colors and wet brushes. It was entertaining and bold and matched my lime green skinny jeans perfectly. Another makeup trick I use is to hold a business card under my lashes while I apply mascara, and it evenly coats each lash. Okay so some of these I didn't think of, I saw them in different places. Some I did, although they have been thought of before.
ANYWAYS so what do I talk about. I am addicted to blogging and I have nothing else to write about!
One of my friends SF did the nicest thing for me earlier. He was texting me this morning and I told him that I've been sick. And then when I went to the barn and left my phone home, he texted me like 6 times and I didn't see them for like 5 hours and he even called to check if I had died! He's the best. Love you S! lol as a friend.

Horsey today!

I went to see my beautiful chestnut quarter horse today. I had been sick and incredibly busy, so this was the first time in three days that I've ridden her. Sophie was so happy to see me! When i got on, she was a little fast but not out of control. I did have to half halt her a couple of times though. Yes i know your probably thinking "Wow, this girl's horse went a little too fast so she yanked on her mouth." and that's not true. See when my sister and I first acquired this mare, she was western. So we spent about a year and a half teacher her to jump(now she'll just three-foot oxers for me!). But we had a small problem when she began to bolt and flat gallop every time we turned her toward the middle for a lead change. It wasn't as big a problem for me as it was for my sister, who is younger then me. So my trainer and I and my sister, Lucy, all worked hard with her to get her back under control. Finally we did and she can do lead changes and figure eights and everything. But when she starts to bolt i always have to get it very clear to her that that's not okay. She got the message after trying it just once. Sophie is a sweet horse and very smart, which sometimes plays against me. But like I said, I can get her around a high coarse with little to no problems now.

I'm also excited to have a lesson on one of my riding instructor's horses(Luce will be on Sophie). His name is Murphy and he is an absolute dream to jump. I'll update tomorrow after my lesson!

Well i have to go feed my cattle (cattle= mom's version of the plural of cats), so I'll update tomorrow and give y'all the 411 on my Murph lesson!

New blog!

Hey guys! So this is a brand new blog and I'm so excited to start posting stuff! I have lots of pets, including 3 cats, a dog, 6 chickens, a bunny and a horse. My horse is the main focus of my blog, but I might not be able to refrain from posting makeup or fashion tips. Basically I'm going to blog about my life so I hope you like it!
